Brief History of Our Firm

Oct. 1998, set up "Sato & Fujimoto" at Hatchobori area in Chyou-ku, Tokyo.
Aug. 2001, partially expanded the firm at Ariake in Tokyo Bay area.
Jan 2002, totally moved to Ariake area with firm name's change to "Sato & Associates."

• Drafting contracts regarding sales contract in association with intellectual property matters as well as trade secret matters, drafting contracts for exclusive license, non-exclusive license, and negociating with such contracts.
• Abitration on international disputes
• Legal research on foreign intellectual property matters
• Prosecution and reseach on patents, design patents, and trademarks brought outside Japan including international patent applications and international registration applications.
• Patent translation and legal translation on copyright contracts or other general matters.
• Consultation regarding U.S. intellectual property law and related laws.
